inside the only Margolis Center on the campus of Brown University in the 2014 Ivy League fencing round robins ended in dramatic fashion as columbia and harvard claim shared to the men's title while princeton captured its fifth straight championship on the women's side here are the highlights on the Ivy League digital network the Harvard and Columbia med both finished five of one on the weekend line for perfect on day one and only dropped its final match of the weekend to Princeton I experienced one of the most exciting sport experience of my life when we're against harvard we're down 13 12 both of my guys were 44 I shut my eyes I heard the cheers and then both one and it was 14 13 and that was that was amazing you know I was exciting the Crimson failed to columbia in the first match of day two but rebounded the remainder of the afternoon including a share clinching win over Brown the catwalk championship it was obviously a roller coaster two days I mean we were fencing extremely well and my guys were obviously very very disappointed when we lost Columbia because we felt that was the great opportunity there was a very close match as you know 14 13 and we just decided we got on end the day on a high note we defeated Brown and lo and behold a great surprise to be honest with you but which Princeton came through for us this time on the women's side it was business as usual for the Princeton Tigers as they wrapped up their fifth straight victory in the Ivy League round robins the tires went undefeated on the weekend with the clinching win over Colombia their final match of day two I'm very happy I I was thinking that we will be capable to to get that especially with the women's team we had an undefeated season and everything just clicked together pretty well I thought that we will have a little closer matches it's very good to see that we could finish a little bit easier than we expected colombians Jeffrey loss was named Most Outstanding the former Wall Princeton's Alex house was honored as most outstanding rookie performers on the women's side harbours Adrian doraki was named most outstanding performer and rookie performer of the round robins congratulations to 2014 Ivy League round robin champions and thanks for joining us on the Ivy League digital network
