27년 된 아파트 혼자서 1년간의 셀프 인테리어 Part 1 (거실/현관/주방)

What’s up guys.
I’m Joal. Today I prepared my house tour. First, let’s briefly introduce this house.
I’ve been living here since 10 years old. This is a 27-years-old apartment. I renovated this house three years ago.
It became work for a full year. Cuz, I couldn’t let my house totally empty
and just 3-4 hours of work every day by myself. That’s why it took so long.
So today, I’ll let you know about after-re$#%@ (Loosen Up…) After a year of self-renovation,
how is it being maintained? And I want to share my experience. So let’s start my house tour
with the living room here. First, I wanted to use the living room
for the workplace or study room. So, what I care about most is this table.
With this table in the middle, one wall is filled with a bookcase. There is a small DVD section. I love photography so I have some cameras. Most of them are film cameras.
Not that expensive. A kind of collection that I have. Especially the camera I want to introduce is…
This, Contax T2 Its price has almost doubled,
since I bought. Anyway, this is really the best camera for me. It always gives me really cool photos.
Just click the shutter and wow results. Then here’s a sash window. It is the original one.
Never been changed. I wrap the frame with black adhesive film. This part here is made of wood, so I painted in black. If you’ve self-remodeled
maybe you know that. It’s really hard to use caulking gun. I was so bothered with this caulking work. So I covered the silicon with the adhesive film. I think it’s okay.
Stick well. And clean. And there was an existing curtain.
I felt a little bit cramped so that I removed it. And installed the window frosting film. To protect my privacy. Here is my main desk setup. iMac 2019 For reference, I uploaded a desk setup video. Post up here, anyway. If you refer to the video,
detailed videos are available. I think you should refer to that. If you leave one of these LED lights I think it’s very useful. Then here My free time space? I don’t specialize in DJing.
I just do in my free time. But I don’t have much time to do it. I’ve never learned this properly.
Just learned on myself. DJ setup for the parties with my friends And this is the MacBook that I used
before I buy an iMac this time. I’ve been using for almost 10 years. Now I use it exclusively for my music library. And if you look down, my favorite Daft Punk Bear Brick And here it is.
Daft Punk Bear Brick. I usually buy these things
when I travel around. I used to be crazy about reggae music. So, there are many Bob Marley stuffs. And here’s a special light. These lights can be used to party with friends at night
or just for my mood. And here
Everyone knows Ikea shelf. My favorite character, the Simpson. There are some Simpsons. And this is Mario. FYI, Mario is the same age as me.
We were born in ’83. So I like him. Then Here’s Bob Marley, too. And the Simpson. This is El Che, Che Guevara. The light comes on here, too. Like this. I bought this on my trip. I love things like Ethnic items Oh, I skipped the front porch. Let’s take a look of it. In case of the entrance This door is the same door when the apartment was built
It was white. I painted in black.
And changed door knob. In the middle of windows adhesive window film on it Open These days, apartments have wide front porch. But 27-years-old my apartment doesn’t. Originally this much here is where the built-in shoe rack was. I removed it. Then I put some stools here.
Iron tin stools. Here are slippers.
Other storage is possible. And here
This door, also wrapped with black adhesive film. In my experience
If you’re thinking about painting or wrapping I highly recommend the wrapping.
The result is the most satisfactory. The wall here is papered that gives the impression of exposed concrete.
The sliced wallpaper. I thought this would be easy to apply.
You know it is sliced. Honestly I think the rolled wallpaper is much easier. This border part is easy to seam
when the surface is not totally even. I’d rather have this as a roll wallpaper. It gonna be better. And I ordered materials just as much as I need. But if you look here There is a gap,
due to lack of quantity. I just needed a few more.
But, it was a waste of shipping costs. So what I’ve done here is I painted in black from baseboard to the wall.
Just look like the wide baseboard. I don’t think it’s bad. And if I give you one tip
I use a lot of fabric things. When you don’t want to see something.
Just hide it. So here, too. Originally, there are switchboards like this. I covered it with this fabric poster. And then Kitchen?
Should we go to the kitchen? I’ll go. Let’s go to the kitchen. First of all, the kitchen doesn’t have a table.
When my friends, family, or relatives come I usually eat at the table in the living room. Here is the place
to eat cereal alone Or sometimes work here. This is a D.I.Y. shelf. I only painted this narrow side to emphasize it. Here are all kinds of alcohol and medicine. So drink If you feel sick, take medicine again. Feel better? Drink again.
Keep living iteratively. If you look here, you put a shelf like this.
You can feel something like a wall. So it looks like there’s some space separation. My favorite movie
“Reservoir Dogs” If you haven’t seen it?
Watch it! Then…
Oh, if you live in Yeonsan-dong, Busan. I recommend this chicken restaurant.
Typical Korean Chicken I’ve already collected more than 10 coupons. Delicious. Here in the refrigerator Che Guevara.
And this is a paper coaster that I got from cafe. I used to get them from my travel. Looks good. Then I told you before I love fabric things.
So I put it on the refrigerator with no reason. Now I will introduce the main kitchen.
Remove the upper cabinet and install such a perforated board for storage. Also hanger bars here. Actually, it was a support fixture for upper cabinet. Instead of keeping it as it is, you can store something like this. Then tiles. As you can hear, it’s not real tiles Called Funny-wall? Anyway.
I thought it would be easy. But it’s never easy.
Never. If I knew it would be hard,
I would just have tiled. No recommend. And the worst thing is being vulnerable to heat.
Because it’s plastic. So, you have to be careful about fire.
In my case, I put a fence around the stove. The old apartment’s wall is little bit curved. It makes harder to install. The problem is there is no room for a range hood.
Because I got rid of the upper cabinet. This kind of range hood is usually installed in the upper cabinet. So I decided just do it on the wall. I feel it looks good.
Not bad. Then, this was a concrete wall. I filled it with handy-coat. If you look here, there’s a little bit of scrapper marks.
I did it on purpose to get rough texture. If you look inside here, there is a wire. It is lighting. I don’t know why the adapter keeps going out. So I’m not using now. Here is also a fabric. I ran it and hid it inside. And this room Oh, I’ll show you this room last.
Because it is my best work. Leave it at the last. Bedroom?
Let’s go to the bedroom. I’m editing hard now.
But I can’t seem to finish it. So I’m going to upload this video in two. Then until here, Part 1.
The rest of the video gonna be Part 2. I’ll post soon. Then today, It’s the end.
