Building the Horseshoe Pit



welcome to the Texas some of the rains where today we're going to be doing a ringer and we're gonna be making a horseshoe pit so stay tuned and watch this video as you can tell we had to do a whole lot of measuring and a whole lot of cutting and more cutting and more measuring and more cutting we all put all these things all together and we assemble them down on the floor and just sort of lined everything to get an idea of how this thing is going to be attached then we started to drill into the wood to create holes that we can use to drive the spikes in to go through the Timbers and again more drilling more hammering it was just a whole lot of work here you see the finished product out there where we have everything all assemble and we're about to ready to take it out and now you see laying out in the yard all put together with the stakes out there with the dimensions of a 36 by 36 inch square that's the playing field okay this is a scoring system for the horseshoes a ringer is three points a leaner is two points and horseshoe leans towards maybe you want to most people will do twenty one we we do fifteen because we're extremely fit the game so we always play the fifteen and then usually takes us an hour to get there but we have a good time thank you for watching our video today well making the horseshoe pits we got a lot of our ideas from 10th addressed how to build it and how to make it it was it was fun doing it took a lot more work than we anticipated what good thing was we bought the Timbers from Walmart these were used to set up their spring sales but all their different spring items out and they sell for a dollar apiece really inexpensive time please watch them continue to watch our videos and you can subscribe down below we would appreciate that and catch you on the next cast
