Evolution Gear – Shooting Range Mat & Rifle Bag 2 in 1

hi i'm jordan up from Bedford shooter today we're talking about the evolution gear range Matt slash soft bag this was supplied by evolution gear to do a review on and a long term review on it and I'd like to say thank you for that moving forward if you just want to just get to the end of the video and just see what I actually think of it and stay tuned and just wind to the end if you want to but for now let's have a look at this beautiful range back slash soft bag and they've designed for our industry so let's just start off on the external side of things it has on the upside of it F has moly strips so you can actually put multiple things on it it's got a lot of motor strip so you can customize it the way you want it it has a external pocket so you can put what you won on it moving forward on the top side you've got a handle so a normal carry handle and you've got your normal zipper for this zipper I've actually put a little zip tie on and so I can grab it better but it's got a suitcase Locker lock so it's easy to put on that's that moving forward we on the optic on the backside do we have two back pack straps so you can actually carry it on your back I found these really comfortable they were easy to use they do come off by unclipping it they've designed that so it's easier so you don't have to crush up while you're actually laying down on your mat so that's the easy way of doing things you can actually transfer these down to the front side of your arrangement you can put these down in the front and you can use them as any support for your bipod so you don't have issues of collapsed bipods or over shooting putting too much pressure on it you can put a lot of pressure on these and they won't go forward as much you get two of them taking for the money of the sides you can actually line them up to do both legs if you want moving forward you've just got your normal nice fabric to it all it's some heavy-duty stuff so you can wear it down and it went through much moving on to the inside of the range mat you've got a soft bag you have a fabric on the back side the back end of it all so that's simple enough to use the zips actually fold into the to the ends of the rain air soft bags so you don't have that issue all this padding is actually underneath you've got a nice decent amount of padding on it so it adds up you do have to pop you get a one big industrial size pocket I'm taking probably here and there range finders all the stuff you need to actually go out to the hunting or going to competitions moving forward from that you have a workman area so you have a heavy rigid material look like leather so that that helps out moving forward from that you have velcro packs like this one is for holding you I like data books and stuff like that including around so if you don't want a hack I like around ammo boxes and all that you just put your hands in here and you can hold a lot of them so there you will hold and they're just the elastic so you can put most rounds okay put a throw your weight in here and that's fine all these comes custom all so you can actually transfer them where you want it on the arrangement you do have another one this one is a little pouch they could put your range range daughter and they it won't get wet if you have a Velcro read one on the inside as well a little pocket on the inside you do have some pin holders and some little straps see so you can see with you on your leg if you want on your arm I found that I can actually get a piece of fabric that I've actually built to actually wrap around so I can actually prove it on my arm if I want to but overall it's actually pretty good I do have this one has some velcro straps so you can actually tied down your rifle inside the bag so I'm going to go anyway like some other ones they just fall off or they just don't hold down your rifle properly it does have some in extra padding on either side so you're not gonna ruin your own mat or your rifle and scope and locks up pretty well two of these little one Okoye straps so and then you get a pocket pouch to slide your rifle butt into so you can actually lock it in there and then tie these over you do have a long long jvd on this mat so it will last all very long time I found that I'm actually putting I put my hands on this a very a lot so it can handle a lot of beading and most of the time with a Ruger position that will hold a 24 inch barrel easily this mat wall and it will be a little bit stuffy with it depends on the scope but overall it will fit it it will be a tight fit for it and it will be bringing out a bigger one so you can handle the 24 inch rifle better this one will fit in a Pelican case easily so you weren't having issues with it I can fit a live co 308 102 and the 2 D 3 version the Remington inversion and the 6.5 Ruger precision in this and it's fine hopefully I will see if the 6.5 105 live commercially fitting this properly if it does it will be fantastic if it doesn't I'll be getting another arrangement overall it slides together properly you can pack it up it's easy this actually gives a bit more protection with everything don't have any issues with them Birkin zips they're an industrial-sized if so you can have anything peace of mind with everything you might be you would like this if you're going to do a lot of right long-range shooting but you're not going to be moving around good for hunting if you're gonna do on ray shooting for hunting or medium long medium to long distance shooting and I found this and can handle a lot of beer in for the Moller strips on the front of the cam the bag so you can actually put a lot through it but um peace of mind with it all you can have your data books in here you can have your Anthony rifle u-bolts your magazines it's got enough pouches in there maybe their evolution gear will bring out some more patches or some bigger bags for everything maybe some more velcro strips or thinner velcro strips they're gonna have to catch your leg on it but overall this mat is sufficient for somebody that's getting into the game or is already in the game and of competition hunting or just going to the Ranger just shooting targets it will last a very long time a pernicious range mat from day one with concrete gravel grass just checking in on the ground seeing if the rifle will be deemed to door anytime that it handles at all the weight of it's not that bad it's pretty lightweight when you put in your rigor precision in it adds up in weight but that's why you have the backpack straps that help are very a lot so they handle a lot of that weight on your shoulders instead of handling it in your arms or causing issues with back pain or in some of that overall it folds down to a nice size so when you get it it gets into a nice size so you don't have that problem but a full own long-term use I do recommend it easy people can just take it away I want to go but for now I do recommend it so that if if evolution gear going to make a new one I do recommend that if they can actually have some pockets on the outside that come on the outside or different colors coming in a desert or a camera or a darkish screen after them but I've taped it'll take this to the position rifle series and see how that actually turns out I know some people have actually just got mats and it's just another piece of equipment that you don't really need to carry a lot you can carry it just by strap strength on that you can hold your ammo in the data book or your equipment in this one decent-sized range my slash bag but for now I do recommend it it's I would say it to better about $200 maybe a little bit less so it depends on their and their website so I'll link down below there their website and you can go check it out I do have on the other hand I do have my own websites wwe.com I do have the Facebook and YouTube I do have some motion dice going out and I will be unlocking into creating Gong packs that will be able to screw into sawhorses so you can just take out assault horse instead of taking it and making up your own frames and stuff like that so you can buy a source from Bunnings and it'll be easy and easy enough to install these packs will include rubbers bolts everything cheap enough that you just have to put it together I've got some videos on YouTube you of my first design I have been modifying and different lengths and then but overall I'll give you a the pack will have a certain size length rubber and from the end you can create your own design from there so you just need a 10 mil millimeter drill bit and the stanley knife and something straight actually cut it on and in your whole swing you
