I'll be fetching which was the first organized collegiate fencing club in the United States calls the molecule Athletic Center each home the Mac is located just outside of Harvard Square with close proximity to student housing Harvard Yard and Harvard Athletic Complex the third floor of the molecule Athletic Center provides practice competition locker rooms and office space for both the men's and the women's teams this dedicated space has been distinctly associated with Harvard fencing in the modern era there are eight strips in the room that spans 2,000 square feet all thirty student athletes could practice at the same time while they adjacent practice room has two strips which is utilized for individual construction our fencing room is not just a place to practice and competition but one with the history of the nation's oldest program is showcased pictures and plaques line the walls were presenting the student athletes who over the last 12 decades have competed not only for the crimson but for the native countries at World and Olympic championships Ivy League titles all Ivy and All American alone along with it IFA and NCAA championship trophies show a glimpse of the story traditional fencers at Harvard in 2010 Harvard served as the host of the NCAA championship for the first time in program history the 4-day championship event was held at the Gordon indoor track 144 competitive representing 27 squads converged in Cambridge for the 21st NCAA's more than 700 spectators and 19 members of the media were in attendance who watch Harvard's are on Caroline lokah and the women's Tabor individual national title you
