24 Replies to “How Much Can You Learn in 1 Year!?! – Wakeboarding”

  1. I’m 56 and I started wakeboarding in June. I can do switch 180s off the small and XL kicker, regular and switch 360s on the fun box, 180s off a long rail. I can hit just about everything either dominant or switch.
I live in Georgia and ride at Terminus but since it’s winter up here, I’m going to OWC in Orlando about once a month.
Wakeboarding is my addiction and my obsession. I cannot wait till this next season. I came so close to landing 360s off the kicker last season…..this season they will be mine!!!! 🀟😊

  2. I got my first wakeboard 3 months ago and i just recently learned a backside 360 on the box πŸ˜€

  3. David I almost got heel side tantrum and I am learning heel side back side 540 blindπŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š

  4. Hey, just a quick advice! Start uploading/filming in at least 1080p quality 4k would be even better it makes watching experience so much better πŸ™‚

  5. Ive been wakeboarding for 1 season. June-september 2017. 5 days a week for 3 hours on average. I've learned fs and bs 180 from ollie and kicker, ollie 360, kicker 360 and slider 360, with and without the handle pass. From air tricks ive mastered backroll, backroll to revert and raley and a lot of that goes to your videos! Thank you and keep them coming!

  6. Damn right – I strapped on a wakeboard for the first time in July 2017 and love how quickly you can learn and progress (even as an old Bloke). This run from a few weeks ago sums up my progression reasonably well: https://youtu.be/3Euly9DqYXk

  7. Plz do a vid of chain of progression for cable coz u did one for boat and it was great. I’ve got to the point of doing inverts but not sure what would be best, JB O’Neill thinks toeside backroll.

  8. practice is everything πŸ™‚ I've started my wake boarding this season, two sessions in June, and then from end of July to and of September, 2 to 4 time a week from about 15 to 40 minutes at the end. I've used system 2 and 5, after this time, I can ride normal and switch with confidence, I can do olie 180 front normal and switch from surface kicker and box, 360 surface, almost olie 180 to blind and almost landed raley few times. I'm a snowboarder for like 16 years which is very helpful of course:) I'm almost 41 and I can't swim but it does't matter because wake boarding is sooooo cooool πŸ™‚ I wanted to thank you for lot of good advice πŸ™‚ and I promise πŸ™‚ I'll tag you when I land my first reley πŸ™‚ keep up good work πŸ™‚
