I want to install it only in the backyard but i don't want to go on the roof because i want my dog to be safe hanging out at the outside patio on 2nd floor… What if i twist the wires across the back of the house? Do you think that is going to work? The system I am looking into is "Dogtek Electronic Dog Fence System". Thank you!
dont use expansion joints. BAD IDEA. doing so will cut your wire when it gets cold and contracts on your wire and pinches it off. And DONT use this shitty yellow wire. TRUST ME i has installed and reinstalled dog fence wires several times. Following these idiots advice will definitely end in failure and you WILL be doing all that hard work all over again. GET HIGH GRADE DOG FENCE WIRE AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!
Hey guys got a question. Iβm putting in a hidden fence system for my dog but the only place I have to put the main power box is beside the door the dog will be using. I was thinking of running the wire high and out the top of the door so the dog doesnβt get zapped going out but itβll have to run down the side of the house for about ten feet. Now my question is the aluminum siding wonβt cause an issue will it?
If you want it to last use a max of 14 gauge. These guys are using 16 or maybe 18 gauge it won't last long. a 14 gauge or less will last at least 10-12 years before it starts to break down.
COULD I BURRY THE WIRE IN PVC PIPE AND TRANSMITTER AND SHOCK WORK PROPERLY. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH GROUND MOLES. I WANT TO FIND OUT FIRST INSTEAD OF INSTALLING FIRST AND WASTING TIME AND MONEY
these guys need to demonstrate exactly how to do it not show us a Lego house and a fake yard we can all lay it like that but we need to know how deep what type of wiring and exactly how far and what you can do and this video does not give us any of that information and these guys seem to be talking to their selves not Their audience
when you are putting up your wireless electric fence underground or whatever do you have to have coded wiring to make this work or regular wiring I need to know so I can put up a fence so my dogs will not keep torturing my neighbor please I need an answer as soon as possible
