How to Play Horseshoes : How to Keep Score in Horseshoes

In this clip, we are going to talk about scoring.
Right here we have set up scoreboards and colored them because we don't want to get
lost. So scoring is pretty easy and a lot of people can do it in their head. You know
at our point in life, we've got good memories; they are just short. So if any partner, we
have a score of 14 and he gets two points, we keep track of it this way so that we don't
lose what we had. We don't want to lose what we had because he worked too hard to get it.
So that is part of our drill and what we do. Here we play to 21 but you can play to 30
or you can play to 40 or you can play to 11. It really depends on what your choice is.
If you are playing with your grandson, maybe you only play to 11 or something like that.
For us, we play to 21 and the first team that hits 21, we thank you, shake hands and go
back and get ready for the next game.
