Howa Kuiu Lightweight Rifle Range Test and Review

they're welcome back to bullets for bucks so in today's episode we're going over the Paola who you lightweight rifle of course it features the hell with 1,500 action along with the hack two-stage trigger that's seen here and it comes in two different kou you camo patterns it features a fully Serie coated barrel and action it comes with a the lightweight version comes with a number to contour 20 inch barrel this one happens to be chambered in six five Creedmoor as you can probably hear in the auto audio I'm dealing with some really strong winds probably 25 miles an hour right now so I'm not sure how good this is picking up but we'll try this nonetheless you can also see the bolt has been hollowed out the bolt knob to shed weight the receiver on both sides has been machined flat to shed weight and of course we have one piece scope mounts here and a Nicko sterling diamond long-range rifle scope with a four to sixteen by fifty the scope also has two levels of illumination excuse me two colors of illumination and month up to five different levels of brightness the turrets are locking you simply pull up on the turret adjust it to the needed elevation for your distance and push it back down to lock it the windage is also a locking current this is an MOA scope here comes with the sunshade put that unsafe and a Buffalo River bipod it doesn't come with this excuse me it doesn't come with the bipod I put this bipod on very pleased with this bipod it's a very nice bipod not very familiar with Buffalo River fire pods but pretty impressed with this it's can't adjustable as you can see here and it works very well of course the gun comes with a nice recoil pad trigger was set at the factory at just over three pounds and of course it comes with real bottom metal typical from how I will take it out here shoot a bunch of groups at a hundred yards using horny American gunner 140 ammunition then will stretch it out two to three and 350 yards so far I've played with this rifle a little day everything seems to be working great pitch back with you guys in a second when we get started shooting not the greatest group I think that was definitely me I mean you're probably looking at an inch and a half group with a Hornet American gunner 140 grain factory ammunition looks lower or one MOA actually that's proud that's a sub Emily that folks is what you're talking about so right there with factory ammunition I probably have a half inch to quarter inch or half inch or half em away two quarter MOA crew at 100 yards with American gunner factory ammunition 140 grain with a seven pound rifle of course that's without the accessories but even still this is probably I mean it's got to be sub probably I think it's about eight and a half pounds total so that's absolutely excellent shooting an excellent rifle once again how stands up to its name and it's sub MOA guarantee
