Learn Front Flip on Ground But First On The Trampoline

all right what's up everybody Lucas here so I know you guys getting a little scared it's getting a little cold out trampolines getting brittle could break at any moment but that's alright we're continuing the series I'm gonna teach you guys how to learn a front flip on the trampoline in a way so that you can take it right to the ground within minutes and learn it on the ground so even if you can already do a front flip on the trampoline pay attention to some of the key points in this video because I'm going to show you guys how to learn it in a way on the trampoline to where when you go to the ground you're gonna be able to do a front flip within minutes seconds even all right but you gotta focus so front flip on the trampoline is easy for the most part honestly you just kind of got a attempt a few tries if you can't do a front foot ball ready um you know I just work on doing like a dive roll so you just roll and time it out you want to jump up tuck forward just like that roll but talk a little tighter and then the the key to landing a front flip are getting at least close enough to where you can make the minor adjustments to land it is about 45 degrees from the horizontal you want to pick an object or make an imaginary object that you want to spot or at least feel what it feels like lean back and see where you know feel the gravity go through your body that's where you want to open back up okay approximately so do that jump open now front flip on the trampoline is an easy partner so when it comes to doing a front flip on the trampoline that's usually not the hard part honestly the front flip can be milked I can use the bounce to push my lower body overlap advice so I can just be like like this and like like you know what I mean this makes it difficult when taking it to the ground because you're relying on the bounce from the trampoline so in order to learn it on the trampoline so that we can take it to the ground first we need to focus on our arms okay off prey here when you do the front flip when you jump off the trampoline you want to throw them you actually want to throw them up and then down so like this not just like uh apparently you can just go like this because you got all that balance so it's smart to work on this while you're on the trampoline so jump up up and now second key point which is huge when taking it to the ground we need to compensate because even though you're throwing this up and then down you're still gonna be losing a lot of height and you are gonna be throwing yourself down so your upper body is gonna be coming down on the ground so we need to have our lower body our butt shoot up the compensate you need a focus on the butt pop the butt pop so don't rely so much on the bounce but pop that lower body up oh this is great because the trampoline makes this exercise easy so arms out foot butt and then do the butt pop with the arms down but pop as you get better and better at this move closer and closer to the edge of the trampoline and use less and less bounce so until eventually you can get to the edge of the trampoline where there's no bounce and I like to do this for the backflip too and then from here you have no bounce and then try and get as close to your feet as possible and you can still land on your butt because the trampoline is soft so key points throw the arms up and over pop in the butt up and then talking tight you got a tuck tight because you got to spin fast seeing you back to your feet now that you have that all mastered you might've did the hack if you want to let's get on down to the ground hold your horsies we're not entirely done with the trampoline yet but I want you on the ground first thing I want you to do is work on this exercise hands on the trampoline get in the jumping position you're gonna you're gonna jump you're gonna pop that butt right up in the air just like we worked out on the trampoline because the butt pop is crucial for doing the front flip on the ground top spring off the toes down pop down pop now we're going to take it to the ground now there's one huge difference the lack of bounce sort of lack of height how are we gonna make up for that blocking what is blocking for those of you guys who don't watch my other videos blocking is where you put your feet out and front of you on an angle so if I'm running forward it's gonna turn that horizontal momentum into vertical momentum and give me a higher jump so we need to practice a few block steps ready so run run block jump work on this a few times jump do you used to blocking and you'll notice you'll be getting higher than if you just ran up to it and like jump like that alright see if you were up and jump like this a big trouble mister after that all we have to do is tie everything together right when you jump in the air you need to throw your arms up everything needs to be chained together so you might want to work on this a few times like around you can just go like this like dude just to get the timing right cuz if you go like this it's not gonna go right as you're in the air you need to tuck tight too just like you did on a trampoline that's how I work on the trampoline work on it even from the edge of the trampoline because it gets you used to tucking tight when you land on the ground it's gonna be a little harder so be ready for it be sure you're warmed up or if you're afraid you're gonna land low maybe put a pad down mattress pillows whatever you got to do leaf pile run up feet out you block punch hands go up and then down as you talk very tight with the upper body and pop the butt up rotate about 45 degrees when you're when you're about there you need to open back up land hope this video helps y'all out thanks so much for watching everybody if you
