  1. Larger pool of contestants. Pun intended. Which means that best of the best will be chosen to compete on prestigious competition. Better training methods, better nutrition, better coaching staff and PED's. World records go down. Every sport, every year. Crowd loves the excitement of old records being broken and that drives the industry. So even in the case of PED's the industry will look away. In case of Olympics its practically mandatory to be on PED's. Many are state sponsored. At that point its cold war continued by other means. Olympics have always been political battle ground first and since the 60's a chemical battleground as well. Only after all that comes sports competition. I am stating the state of the pro sports industry and Olympics. Not accusing any one athlete in particular, but its hard not to be a little skeptical when new world records are broken. It may or may not be legit. But how do we really know?
