Setting a Fence Post in 3 Minutes

hello everyone I'm Bob and in this video I'm gonna show you how I set fence posts in three minutes I'm gonna be using the sick' Pro select fence post mix and I already have my hole dug to the recommended depth now my fence post mix comes in a plastic bag so I need to open the plastic bag and once I get that out you'll see there's two separate pouches and you need to mix both of those different materials together and you roll it this way so that both materials go together and then rock it back and forth to mix the materials together so we get started here we're gonna break the seal in between the two pouches by rolling the one pouch with the arrows until the seal in between will break and you'll see it happen once enough pressure builds up on the right pouch once that happens you have about 15 minutes to mix the two materials together before it starts to work works very quickly okay so now both of my tear materials are together roll out most of the material and then it recommends rolling it back and forth on a sharp edge kind of like shining shoes so we go back and forth and you have about 15 seconds like I said to mix the material together once it's mixed you don't want to go over 15 minutes or it'll start to expand cut off the end and simply pour it into the hole with the post already put in the hole a good thing about this stuff is it seals off around the pole keeps water from getting into the pole and it sets up very quickly we're gonna see here in just a moment while this stuff is starting to work takes about three minutes I'm going to use a level and make sure my posts that stays level at the three minute mark I can let go of the post and it'll continue to harden up from there you can see I have my post level and the material starting to work check level the other way still good and just wait for the material will start working now you can see the material expand rather rapidly so you want to make sure that your post is level because once it starts to set up it becomes more dense and it's a lot harder to level your post the amount of material that expands above the ground will vary depending on your hole size hole depth and size of the fence post and that's about as far as it's going to go you can see the post this is about four or five minutes and it's pretty solid right there so now I'll let it dry for another couple hours and you can see what it looks like some of the posts will look a little different depending on how the material expands so I'll come back with a reciprocating saw and cut off the excess and I'd like to taper it away from the post that way if any water comes down it'll roll away from the post and then you can refill it with some dirt over top of the material just not the cut off pieces cuts real easy with a reciprocating saw get it down about ground level and then we can put some dirt right over top of it and that's how you set a fence post in three minutes I'm how to Bob thanks for watching
