Shooting Tip: Rock Solid Long-Range Rifle Stabilizing

home sweet home ground blinds permanent shooting houses even ladder stands our tree stands with rails round them they all give you what a nice place to rest your rifle when you're shooting but that doesn't mean you can't use a little extra support so here's what I always do I bring a shooting stick that way if it's a close shot and I just want to shoot off the shooting stick I can put the forearm of my rifle right in there and shoot but sometimes when you're in situations where you might have a longer shot like you crossed a bean field a green field just like this alfalfa field we're on that in Nebraska here what I like to do is use my shooting stick as a back further support on my rifle so I stick my rifle out the window use the V the crook of the window to rest but then I used this part of the shooting stick to support the rest of rifle and guess what it's just like a shooting bench just like you're at the range so remember you've got a long shot ahead of you and you're shooting in a blind like this or a stand with the rail around it get double the support put your shooting sticks into play to support the back end of your rifle and you won't miss at all except for that you know that buck fever thing but don't worry about that you've got this
