  1. My belts go
    Advanced white
    Advanced yellow
    Advanced orange
    Advanced green
    Advanced blue
    Advanced purple
    Advanced red
    Advanced brown
    Black belt

And then on with black belt degrees if you do all belts it takes 8 years to get your first black belt but if you do advanced and main belt training and skip advanced it takes 4 years

  2. I think he means 2 years from obtaining the belt before black belt. Not going from white to black in 2 years.

  3. You cannot obtain black belt in 2 years…….General Choi Hong Hi IX degree spent his whole life training to be a IX degree…..we sadly lost him in 2002 though🙏🙏🙏

  4. My school goes
    Low Orange (2 green stripes)
    High Orange (4 green stripes)
    Low Green (2 blue stripes)
    High Green (4 blue stripes)
    Low Blue (2 brown stripes)
    High Blue (4 brown stripes)
    Low Brown (2 black stripes)
    High Brown (4 black stripes)
    And then 1st-9th degree black

  5. So in my club this is the system
    -white bely
    -yellow stripe on white belt
    -green stripe on yellow
    -blue stripe on green
    -red stripe on green
    -black 1st dan
    black 2nd dan
    -3rd dan
    4th dan
    -5th dan
    6th dan
    7th dan
    -8th dan
    9th dan
    10th dan

And you can test for a new belt every half year so for me I'm now a black stripe going on a black belt

  6. it depends on how long you take it. if you go 2 times a week you will get it 4-5 years. if u go 5 times a week u get it less than a 2 years.

  7. Yeah my dad is 3th dan his Korean so I guess it counts and a lot of people are saying it took them years but the things you learned was only the basics I think the maximum of taekwondo is 10 or 11th dan and too bad I'm a Korean boy because all boys in Korea need to go to military if your Korean. Other countries can also join but if you want to.

  8. Took me 5 years to get black belt, and it takes one year to get certified 1st Dan Black Belt, so it’s much harder

  9. 2 years to get a black belt?

I am a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate it took me 7 years.
I am a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu it took me 5 years

  16. I go to eagle teakondo and the belt order is white yellow purple orange green blue brown red red black black

  17. No LEGIT black belt can be obtained in 2 years. That's pure nonsense. Just selling black belts to ignorant students with no skill to back it up. A real black belt, a real blood, sweat and tears blsvk belt should take a minimum of 3-4 years. Most like 5-7 years. For a REAL school, which there are precious few of.

  18. It will be my 2nd year of doing taekwondo in a month and I'm almost solid orange. I'm not White belt I'm orange belt with a white stripe Through it. And I don't really slack and skip classes that much. A person I somewhat know who has been doing karate for 6 years and she's not black yet (I don't think) and she always goes to her karate classes
