  1. My daughter left the quail door open on just a corner and we just had a weasel destroy all pf our flock. I hope we catch him soon. I canโ€™t believe that opossum can get in there without being cooked!!!

  2. I had a young possum get into my chicken pen and he slept in one of the nests. It was very cold out so I let him stay. He would play possum when I opened the door. I could pet him and he was ok with it. He would eat the eggs which I didnt mind cause he was hungry. He stayed for the duration of winter while getting bigger. Springtime came and I left the door open so he could leave. He did. I miss him though.

  3. You should never kill an opossum unless you absolutely have to as they eat thousands of disease carrying ticks a week. Love opossums.

  4. We have a regular possum visitor in out chicken coop. She eats all the leftover food from the chooks. No problems otherwise.

  5. Possums are omnivores, they enjoy snacking on Huntsman Spiders or whatever crosses their path including free range BBQ chooks, your best loved plants and especially any plant that would upset you the most for being torn to shreds. They don't just have a snack, they destroy the entire plant – including some of the hottest chilies in the world – they might look cute but they are Aussie Tree Rats!

  6. As youโ€™ll be aware Australian possums are a pest here in New Zealand and they eat everything.
Pity to waste that yummy cooked chicken ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. I always wanted to see a Possum Here in UK we don't have them. OMG, they are just like humans..opportunists, userers and damn clever at getting what they want without any care for the rest ๐Ÿ™‚ I always thought rats were our best mirror image but possums possible outway them ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. This was sooo funny…lol…I needed a good laugh today..๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€

  9. You need to getting my dogs they hunted everything kind rats to big animals like possums and more bigger, hounds dogs are amazing to catching. Any animal or snake donโ€™t left entry to the property.great videos

  10. I know Australia has the most marsupial type species I did not know you had possums we have them in America and they pretty much are omnivorous they will eat everything . Sorry about your flock I know that fence will keep a fox out it got your poor sweet pooch awwwwww.

  11. lmao, I hope you were being sarcastic about eating babies: they sometimes eat their OWN babies. Not human babies. Just to be clear. They aren't dingos.

  12. LOVE THIS VIDEO! Great, fun music also. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

  13. Man I could have eaten that. Next time just get a .50 cent pack of sardines. Bad boys bad boys what cha gonna do wach ya gonna do when they come for you…

Joray Good chicken dad doing everything to keep them safe

  16. My husband built taller (6 ft, so we could walk in) enclosuresโ€‹ with chicken wire, and roofed them, partly with roofing tin, for shade, and the rest covered with more chicken wire. The big openingsโ€‹ in your fence let through a lot of stuff, foxes, raccoons, and whatever other smaller predators you have down there. If they don't touch the electrified parts with bare skin, (like their nose) fur will often prevent any shock. Plus the top is wide open, so hawks can swoop right in.

  17. Like I said before, all you need is to add some larger animals to scare awy the foxes. Add some goats for example.

  18. Hey I can't find a video on Tamarillo from you, Do you grow Tamarillo? it's one of the best fruits for self sufficiency IMO. easy to propagate and abundant

  19. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Little bugger! I thought for sure he'd get a zap โšก๏ธ on that bushy tail. My husband once brought me a dozen long stem roses ๐ŸŒน, they were beautiful. The same night I got them a possum came in and ate all the flower buds off the top & left me with a poop ๐Ÿ’ฉ and 12 stems. Little buggers!

  20. we used a lecky fence for the possum too, after the third night they just decided to take the pain and push through anyhow… I thought it couldn't be working so stupidly touched it….. won't do that again.
The only thing that will really deter a determined possum is a determined gardener prepared to sit up all night, there's really good recipes available for possum like honey smoked…

  21. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Will remember to warn all our visitors with babies from now on…..

  22. I used to leave my dogs out at night. Kept the critters away, but I don't think my neighbours appreciated it, even though their houses are more than a hundred meters away.

  23. I have never seen a possum that look likes this animal. I live in SW Florida and our possums are totally differant, your animal looks more like our racoons minus the bandit mask and banded tail.

  24. YouTube: The only place where I will find myself caring about the chickens and ducks of some I guy who I never met that lives in another state.

  25. I had tossed the remains of a coop raider (possum) in the back just inside the tree line and a few days later I saw another possum moving through the woods towards the dead one, it ate the entire possum. They will eat anything, anyone tries to tell you they are vegetarian they are not truthful. I never caught a possum in a trap with veggies, meat is what they like.

  26. I love the way youโ€™re so kind when you talk to your dog. It says a lot about you and your character.

  27. haha how the bloody helld he get under that thing twice?! hey mark howd you get that gnarly scar on your forearm? if you werent so jacked you wouldnt see it

  28. Thanks Mark certainly the BEST laugh I've had all week! Poor Scooter, he didn't even get to eat a chicken although I notice he has free range (no pun intended!) of the chicken coop. Oh no, maybe it's not a fox eating those chookens it's Scooter! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š

  29. Imagine beeimg a chicken in his coop and one day wake up and there is your naked sister suspended on a pole… horror movie script ๐Ÿ˜‚
